This is a multi-photo layout made using a lot of different materials and the lovely technique of photo
templates and the embossing resist using mister huey’s double yellow. Of course, you can use your favorite colors spray inks, the key word is “have fun”!

I chose to create a multi-photo layout so I decided to use a digital photo template. You can find them wherever, mine is from Studio Calico but you will find them free in many different websites or you can buy them on designer digitals, Jessica Sprague and many others.

I use photoshop but you can use other very easy to use programs like picasa from google that let you edit the photos in the way you like with few actions. I can advise you that a lovely program I usually use with photoshop, is Totally Rad (www.gettotallyrad.com)

Photoshop works with levels, every square in this template is a level on PS and every photo will be a level that you can insert above the square you will select.

Choose your photos – edit them with few effects and insert them in the template.
Drag your photos above the level you want to insert it and click (on my mac) CMD+maiusc+click and the photo will precisely appear on the selected square.

Here the complete template where I left two empty colored square, I’ll see later if I’ll leave them in this way or I’ll cover them with papers and embellishments.

The sky square is filled using a digital brush. También usé un timbre digital en uno de los cuadrados (el celeste)
Once I have printed out the photos, the finished template appears so static so I thought to cut some photos and give depth to them, so more movement to my final page. Choose the photos you want to shim and use a cutter to remove them.

Mark where the photos will be placed with a pencil just to be sure that your background will match the photos very well.
Usa un lápiz para marcar dónde irán tus fotos, así te aseguras que esté todo alineado.
Stamp with embossing ink, the versamark the stamps you want to use, I did this on the left corner and on the right bottom of the photos template;

Timbra con tinta de embossing Versamark donde tu quieras, yo la usé en la esquina inferior izquierda y la superior derecha de mi template con fotos.
Use white embossing powder, use your heat gun;

Coloca polvos de embossing blancos y caliéntalos con tu pistola de calor.
Use a brush with the double yellow mister huey’s to color above the stamped image
Usa un pincel para pintar encima de tus timbres con el Mister Huey's.
With a towel or paper towel put away the excess color, the white will be so clear and give a lovely touch to the background.

Con una toalla o papel absorbente retira el exceso de color, el blanco se destacará en el fondo y aparecerá la imagen timbrada.

With the mister huey’s make some drops and remark them with a pencil, I used the sodalicious pencil.
Now let’s start to cut some squares from the paper pad and embellish the page with the wood veneers, the stickers, the stamps, some sequins, I am crazy for sequins lately.
Insert the journaling in a kraft envelope. They are lovely!
